These Terms of Service apply to your use of the MEEKA WORLD website and online store and to purchases made from MEEKA WORLD PTY LTD.
Throughout these Terms, "MEEKA WORLD", "MEEKA", "we", "us" and "our" refer to MEEKA WORLD PTY LTD.
By accessing our website, placing an order, requesting a quote or otherwise purchasing MEEKA products from us, you agree to these Terms of Service where applicable.
Please read these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and our Shipping & Returns information.
ABOUT MEEKA WORLD
MEEKA WORLD PTY LTD operates the MEEKA WORLD website and online store.
Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to offer MEEKA products online.
MEEKA tools are created for use across everyday settings including classrooms, clinics and homes. Information provided on our website about MEEKA tools relates specifically to MEEKA products and their intended use.
USE OF OUR WEBSITE
You may use the MEEKA WORLD website for lawful purposes and to explore, enquire about or purchase MEEKA products.
When placing an order or submitting information on behalf of a school, clinic, organisation or another person, you confirm that you have appropriate authority to provide the information and progress the relevant enquiry or purchase.
You must not:
• use our website for fraudulent, unlawful or harmful purposes
• interfere with the operation or security of the website
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or customer information
• use automated systems to extract website content for unauthorised commercial purposes
• knowingly provide false, misleading or fraudulent information

MEEKA PRODUCT INFORMATION
We take care to provide clear and accurate information about MEEKA products, including product features, intended use, dimensions and safety information where relevant.

Measurements and product information are provided as accurately as reasonably possible. Minor variations may occur where appropriate to the product or manufacturing process.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
MEEKA products are subject to availability.
Adding a product to your cart does not reserve stock.
Where a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to discuss the available options.
These options may include waiting for restock, changing the affected item where agreed, or receiving a refund for the unavailable item.
PRICING AND GST
Prices are displayed in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.
GST is applied where required and will be reflected in the relevant order, checkout or invoice information.
Shipping charges may apply in addition to product prices.
Shipping costs depend on factors including the products ordered, parcel size and delivery location.
We may update product prices from time to time.
A price change will not retrospectively change the price of an order that we have already accepted, except where there is an obvious pricing error and we contact you before progressing the affected order.
ONLINE ORDERS
When you place an order through the MEEKA WORLD website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
You will usually receive an automated order confirmation or acknowledgement.
We may review an order before fulfilment.
An order may not be progressed where:
• payment has not been completed or authorised
• a product is unavailable
• order information is incomplete or appears incorrect
• we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse
• there is an obvious pricing or website error
• we cannot reasonably deliver the order using the information provided
If we cannot progress an order, we will contact you where reasonably possible.
Where payment has been received for an order or item that we cannot supply, we will provide an appropriate refund.
SCHOOL AND ORGANISATION QUOTES
Schools, clinics and other organisations may request a MEEKA quote.
Quotes are generally valid for 30 days unless a different validity period is stated on the quote.
A quote is based on the products, quantities, pricing and shipping information available when it is prepared.
Changes to products, quantities, delivery locations or other order details may require the quote to be updated.
A quote does not reserve stock unless MEEKA WORLD confirms otherwise in writing.
PURCHASE ORDERS
MEEKA WORLD accepts purchase orders from schools and education organisations.
Purchase orders should include sufficient information for us to identify the organisation, contact person, products required, delivery location and relevant purchasing details.
Receipt of a purchase order does not automatically confirm stock availability or acceptance of the order.
We may confirm product availability, pricing, shipping or other order details before progressing a purchase order.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, MEEKA school and organisation orders are prepared for dispatch once payment has been processed.
PAYMENT
Payment must be made using an available payment method or in accordance with an invoice or other payment arrangement confirmed by MEEKA WORLD.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and payment information.
We do not require customers to send payment card details directly to MEEKA WORLD by email or through general enquiry forms.
Online payments may be processed by Shopify or other payment service providers.
Where payment is not completed, an order may remain unfulfilled or may not be progressed.
PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNT CODES
MEEKA WORLD may offer promotions, sales or discount codes from time to time.
Promotions may be subject to specific dates, product exclusions, customer eligibility requirements or other conditions stated with the offer.
Unless otherwise stated, discount codes cannot be combined.
Discounts must be applied at the time of purchase where an online code is required.
We may refuse or cancel the use of a promotion where we reasonably believe it has been used fraudulently, contrary to the stated promotion conditions or as the result of a technical error.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
MEEKA WORLD ships orders using third party courier, freight and delivery services.
Shipping options and costs may vary depending on the products ordered and the delivery location.
For larger products, combined orders or some regional locations, an online shipping option may not always be available at checkout. Customers can contact MEEKA WORLD for assistance with a shipping quote.
Delivery timeframes provided by MEEKA WORLD or a courier are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
We will take reasonable steps to prepare and dispatch orders and to assist where a delivery issue is brought to our attention.
Tracking information will be provided when available.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If delivery information is incorrect or incomplete, additional delivery charges may apply where a courier requires the parcel to be redirected or redelivered.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
LOCAL PICKUP
Local pickup may be available for eligible orders in Canberra.
Customers must wait until MEEKA WORLD confirms that the order is ready for collection and provides the relevant pickup information.
Please do not attend the pickup location before receiving confirmation that your order is ready.
Pickup availability, location and arrangements may change from time to time.
ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
If you need to request a change or cancellation, please contact MEEKA WORLD as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled once it has entered preparation, been booked for courier collection or been dispatched.
Where we are able to accommodate a requested change, additional product or shipping costs may apply.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
CHANGE OF MIND
MEEKA WORLD does not accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind.
This includes circumstances where a customer no longer wants or needs a product, selects the wrong product or colour, or finds a product at a different price elsewhere.
This change of mind policy does not limit your rights where a product does not meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.
FAULTS AND PRODUCT CONCERNS
If something is not right with a MEEKA product or order, please contact us with:
• your order details
• a brief description of the issue
• photographs or other information where relevant
We will review the information and guide you through the next steps.
The appropriate outcome will depend on the circumstances and any rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
MEEKA WARRANTY
MEEKA tools include a 12 month warranty covering manufacturing defects and faults under normal everyday use.
The MEEKA warranty does not cover general wear and tear, misuse or accidental damage.
Product specific use and care information should be followed.
The MEEKA warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Further warranty information may be provided with MEEKA products or made available by contacting us.
AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Our products come with rights and consumer guarantees that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, the remedies available will depend on the circumstances and the nature of the product issue.
PRODUCT USE AND SAFETY
MEEKA products must be used in accordance with the product information, intended use and safety guidance provided.
Customers and supervising adults are responsible for reviewing applicable product guidance before use.
Children should be appropriately supervised having regard to the product, child's age, environment and intended activity.
MEEKA tools should be regularly checked for visible damage, deterioration or other concerns that may affect safe use.
A product should not continue to be used where damage or another safety concern is identified until the issue has been appropriately reviewed.
Damage caused by misuse, use contrary to product guidance or unauthorised modification may not be covered by the MEEKA warranty.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The MEEKA WORLD name, MEEKA branding, logos, product names, website design, written content, photographs, graphics and other original content are owned by or licensed to MEEKA WORLD PTY LTD unless otherwise stated.
You may view and use our website for personal, educational purchasing or legitimate business purchasing purposes.
You must not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or commercially use MEEKA WORLD content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Use of a MEEKA product does not transfer ownership of MEEKA WORLD intellectual property.
THIRD PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The MEEKA WORLD website is hosted by Shopify and may use third party services to support payments, shipping, website functionality and other business operations.
Our website may also contain links to third party websites.
Third party services and websites may have their own terms and policies.
MEEKA WORLD does not control third party websites and is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Where you use a third party service, the relevant third party terms may also apply.
WEBSITE AVAILABILITY
We aim to keep the MEEKA WORLD website available and functioning appropriately.
From time to time, the website or certain features may be unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues, Shopify services or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may update, change or remove website content and features from time to time.
We will not use changes to these Terms to retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen in relation to an accepted order.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
To the extent permitted by law, MEEKA WORLD is not responsible for loss or damage to the extent that it is caused by:
• use of a product contrary to its intended use or safety guidance
• misuse or unauthorised modification of a product
• inaccurate information provided by the customer
• conduct of a third party outside MEEKA WORLD's reasonable control
This section is subject to any rights and remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
PRIVACY
Our handling of personal information is described in the MEEKA WORLD Privacy Policy.
By using our website or providing personal information to us, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy and as otherwise required or authorised by law.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to our website, products, business practices or legal requirements.
The current version will be published on our website and the "Last updated" date will be revised when the Terms change.
Changes will apply from the date the updated Terms are published.
Where an order has already been accepted, the terms applying to that order will not be retrospectively changed in a way that removes rights that have already arisen.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Australian Capital Territory and Australia.
This section does not limit any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under applicable law.
